Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

What Is a GiveClear® Giving Fund?

A GiveClear® Giving Fund is like a charitable investment account, for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organization your care about. When you contribute cash, securities or other assets to your fund, you receive an immediate tax deduction. You can use your fund to organize all of you giving, whether you give once a month from your pay check, or a one time gift due to a large tax year. All of these funds are available for you to grant to charities of your choice, making the world a better place.

getting started

Once you have signed up for a GiveClear® account, giving is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Step 1:

Donate To Your Fund

You can contribute to your Giving Fund by credit card, ACH, check, or wire transfer. Credit card payments can be made instantly from the website - you can even schedule recurring contributions!

Your contribution is an irrevocable donation to GiveClear® Foundation, and is immediately tax deductible.

|

Step 2:

Recommend a Grant

Once you contribute to your fund, you can recommend grants to IRS-approved charities. Choose causes that inspire you, schedule recurring gifts, or give right away—it’s up to you.

Make Giving A Family Affair

Kids can be added as members of the same Giving Fund with their own logins. The head of household sets a family giving budget, making it easy to experience generosity together.

Step 3:

Track Your Giving

Track all of your contributions and grants in one place through your GiveClear® dashboard. You will receive a confirmation once the funds have been sent to the recommended charity. Your name, fund name, and email address will be shared with the charity, unless you choose to grant anonymously.
